The International Society for the Social Studies Annual Conference
February 24-25, 2011
Orlando, FL

The 2011 Annual Conference seeks to appeal to all professionals involved in
social studies education. College & university faculty, K-12 teachers &
administrators, curriculum designers & specialists, social studies
supervisors, undergraduate & graduate students, and people in the various
disciplines that constitute the social studies are encouraged to participate
in the 2011 Annual Conference.

The 2011 Annual Conference for The International Society for the Social
Studies is now accepting proposals. We seek proposals relating to the social
studies at all levels. Online proposal applications are available at
www.TheISSS.org. While the proposal abstract is often written early in the
preparation process, be as specific as you can. This helps the reviewers
truly assess the quality of the presentation. The peer-review process
typically takes 4-6 weeks.
